Yes! Because the simulator and the instructor are certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), at the end of each lesson we will sign his/her pilot logbook. A Pilot Logbook is a record of pilot flight experience, usually kept for life.
Our instructors are active airline pilots who work with the simulator on their days off. The best way to meet/chat with an instructor is to book a lesson online or by calling us.
The cost is the same $75.00 per hour whether it is set up for a single-engine aircraft or a multi-engine aircraft and the benefits will be apparent the first time you fly.
By using our simulator, you won’t be wasting time and money flying a plane to get to and from a practice area or an initial approach point so the time you spend in it will be vastly more productive. We can also tailor the location of the training and the weather so you will get the most out of your training dollars. Professional Pilots have been using flight simulators for decades to improve their skills and stay current. Now you can train like the pros, build your confidence and take your training to a whole new level.
Experience, rain, ice, snow, weight and balance or altitude issues, fog, storms, and specific scenarios of endless design. We offer purpose-built scenarios or you can ask us to set up a specific flight in specific weather conditions and give you any number of failures along the route to deal with. All at the touch of a button and with real results and action steps that must be performed.
For flight training, we tend to choose the Cessna 172 or Piper Archer with the Garmin G1000 because that is what you’d fly in real life.
The hours logged on a simulator or airplane do not expire, but if a pilot has not flown in a long time, they are required by the FAA to meet a standard and experience level.
We welcome students of all ages, as there is no age requirement! We find that students around 10 years-old are most fit to use the simulator.
